A Stranger to No One - Syrah 2022

Our inaugural wine pays homage to unity and unconditional acceptance, symbolically represented by the pigeon, a bird that has made its home the world over.

Its familiar call resonates the same regardless of location, reflecting a message of shared humanity.

Just like the pigeon, alike in appearance yet nuanced upon observation, this wine embodies subtle complexity beneath a welcoming profile. It is crafted to be warm and open, inviting genuine connection.

This wine is meant to be shared among strangers; to promote unity & connection.

Winemaking Details

• Vineyard: Single-Vineyard Selection (4 year-old vines). 100% Syrah.
• Fermentation: Hand-selected whole-bunches were fermented naturally with wild yeasts.
• Extraction: Gentle pour-overs were performed 4 times daily during fermentation.
• Pressing: Basket-pressed after 10 days of skin contact.
• Aging: Alcoholic fermentation finished in barrel. Matured for 14 months in neutral French oak to respect the fruit, followed by 14 months in the bottle before release.
• Intervention: Unfined and Unfiltered.
• Production: Extremely limited (300 bottles / 50 cases).
