Pilgrimage - Palomino 2024

It is an homage to the unknown, crafted from vines that have breathed the Klein Karoo air far longer than we have. To work with such sensitive fruit is to recognize the courage to let go of the familiar and the grace to be led by the old into the new.

The wine reveals a sensory arc of evolution: a bold, whiskey-edged nose yields to lemon rind and an earthy whisper of mushroom & almond.

On the palate, the comfort of the past lingers in a creamy texture, before giving way to the searing honesty of the desert, a signature of brine and saline, lifted by persistent stone fruit.

Let go of the familiar and be led by the old into the new.
